zentangle® Tiles

zentangle uses a mould-made, acid-free, 100% cotton, heavy-weight fine artists' paper with a beautiful vellum surface finish. Sized at 3-1/2 inches square, these tiles are designed to fit in pockets or in old floppy disk containers. The die-cut edges also fit together nicely in a mosaic

zentangle® Ensembles™

zentangle Ensembles™ are an inspiring way to enjoy zentangle, whether alone or with a group. A zentangle Ensemble is a set of nine "pre-strung" tiles that fit together like a puzzle to create a composite 10.5 inch square zentangle.

Ensembles inspire individual creativity. Its string's continuity across all nine tiles allows all tiles to fit together as a whole. It's fascinating to see unexpected patterns and relationships revealed as tiles that are done at different times or by different people are assembled. When you do an Ensemble yourself, try doing your tile without referring to its neighbors.

Ensembles are also wonderful for groups. Each person creates a tile and then they're brought together. Even though each one is done individually, every tile fits together with an easy continuity forming a coherent whole.

Pens

 Sakura's Pigma Micron 01 (for drawing) and graphic1 (for filling larger areas)  black pens for drawing zentangle patterns on our tiles. Pens use pigments instead of dyes (dyes are more susceptible to UV radiation and pollution) to draw its fin0.25 mm width line. These pens are archival quality pens and their ink dries quickly to a neutral pH, is waterproof, chemical resistant, not affected by temperature and permanent on paper. Most importantly, these pens are a pleasure to use.
